Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet and Tabu featured in a rom-com recently titled De De Pyaar De which turned out to be a superhit flick. Directed by Akiv Ali, the film starred Ajay Devgn as a 50-year old divorced man who falls in love with a girl half his age. Reportedly, the film is being remade in Telugu with Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role. The makers are on the lookout for the lead actresses for the remake. And it is being speculated that Tabu might reprise her role in the remake. According to a report on Deccan Chronicle, Tabu has been approached for the same and talks are on currently. “Let’s see if she agrees. Tabu is close to Nagarjuna and his brother-in-law Venkatesh. They are keen to have her on board because they can’t see anyone else in that role. Also Tabu speaks Telugu fluently and this would be her return to Telugu cinema,” the report in Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying. Tabu and Venkatesh have worked in the past in Telugu films like Coolie No 1 which was produced by his father D Ramanaidu.
